The reason why the notion is dying is due to my family, whose members are often running late in this ever-changing world. It is a shame that things suddenly become more grey as they grow older and fragile, just as I have found myself. Moreover, it is shocking that some of my relatives are following the crowd and embellishing their stories to appear fancier, which has drawn in my family, including their children. When I think of this sad reality, I cannot help but blame them for being less wise. However, I am left with their inheritance, which I cannot dispose of. The only possible solution that I can come up with in this situation is to make wise investments with His boundless wisdom and courage. Nevertheless, I am grateful to Him for forgiving my sins.

It is challenging to admit that some failures do have happened to me at the moment. Apart from that, I am also struggling with my future, which is perceived vague and uncertain. However, there can be still hope found on my path towards the eternal place in somewhere that I am not certain of... This post is written in Chinese, by the way.

Witnessing 2023 coming, I realised something that has already occured in me. This post is written in simplified Chinese.

It is great to visit those popular places in United Kingdom, most of which referred to in this post are located in England. We have witnessed loads of novels, films, TV shows, documentaries and many other works created by British people and have been moved by the amazing stories. For instance, Sherlock Holmes, the detective novel, has attracted many fans to visit London, exploring the artifically built house of Sherlock Holmes. Other places like Oxford and Cambridge are famous for their world-class universities and colleges contributing élites to the world. Of course, there is also Stonehenge in Salisbury. So why not just come and enjoy the richness of history, culture and its folks? They are waiting for you to rejoice!

As a Chinese born with typically Chinese taste, I find it not easy to navigate tasty food in London. Normally, it should be wrong as various sorts of restaurants, cafés and pubs in London serve customers from the end to another in the spectrum. I can never say 'London is boring!' or I will be blamed by some always proud of their lovely country – patriots, fair enough. HOWEVER, nobody can refuse to be a gourmet no matter what they are, who they are or where they come from. In London it may be true that almost everyone can find the one they love, if they have prepared good money to spend! I may share my experience about eating in London, as a poor gentleman with a poor wallet.

Basically, there are only two types of ecosystems in the world – Android by Google and Apple by Apple. Various manufacturers build their brands associated with one of those ecosystems and sell hardware. It is fascinating that software dominates hardware nowadays. Users not only use their tangible products but also interact with the operating systems inside hardware.

我在 2021 — 2022 年的年终总结。所谓的西历新年实际上没什么所谓假期，大抵是忙了一年，身体健康管理落后，自己病得躺在床上起不来，加之手头工作一大堆等着交差，只好在 2023 年发表下似乎早已变成冷饭的文章。很不幸，这是一篇适合用中文写的长文，只有这样才能节省时间和精力。我也是时候要让自己休息一下了，放下无谓的面子或者坚持——虽然坚持是非常必要的，但是别把自己逼近死胡同，我告诫自己道……

这篇文章系简体中文书写而成，不知道何时出英文版本，也许不会有英文版。我时而发现，表达这种复杂琐碎的情感，还是用母语比较顺我心意，只恨自己英语实在太差。现在只是很想结识女朋友，我不想做男孩子，我想做一个成熟的男人，想做自己日思夜想的事，想和她厮守朝夕。这篇散文，只是键政，倘若让女生看见，或许只是让她们对我倍感失望罢——最后一次的狂妄自大，最后一次的胡言乱语。（就是想和女孩子做爱做的事情，无他，惟人耳。）
