My First iPhone

Time flies and I recall the past time, finding that there were something good and bad. I was just considering quite a few issues. The good thing was: I had an iPhone anyway and the chance to enjoy Apple software services. The bad thing was: I had been standing at the Android side but then I choose the another side as well!
At least one thing for sure can be put here: personally speaking, iPhone 13 Pro is roughly better than OnePlus 5. First of all, they have the front in almost the same size but iPhone has a bigger display which is officially called by Apple “All Screen”. (Well, she has a awful notch after all.) In addition, this iPhone can play sound from dual-stereo, one from a speaker on the bottom and another one from the earpiece speaker. This may be a common feature among smartphones thesedays, no matter Android or iPhone, but for me it is quite differently new. Furthermore, the operating system, iOS, may be the crucially important part of iPhone. Honestly, it seems that iOS is able to regulate Apps on iPhone because at least developers have to follow most of instructions on AppStore. Certainly, not all apps will follow the instructions but it really works compared to Android ecosystem, especially those from Mainland China.
There is a phrase “pros and cons”. So when it comes to the “CONS”, iOS on iPhone has something bad. The notification centre comes first. It merges the notifications from the same conversation, the same app and so on BUT does not really work well as Android. Additionally, iOS does not support Always-On-Display feature, which, I think, is definitely a quite simple feature to develop for Apple, and till now those who feel disappointed say Apple will never develop it because they sell Apple Watch, which supports Always-On-Display function. So, wanna AOD, just buy Apple Watch, Series 7 from £369. Nevertheless, Apple Music has better qualities of sound than Spotify, which is a bit odd. I cannot figure out whether it is because of the lossless feature or just because Apple wants to occupy a better position on their iOS. For me, Apple Music and Spotify probably share the similar content, although Apple Music is better at its design than Spotify. Spotify can be used in almost all platforms and be controlled universally, which is really amazing and convenient, compared to Apple Music. Last but not least, maybe the background process can be an argue point. For on thing, iOS only allows a very limited background process but it has universal Apple Push which is really useful across the world, no matter outside Mainland China or inside. For another, Android usually allows multiple background process and does not really kill them at all, excluding some customed Android. More importantly, besides Google Push banned in Mainland China, apps on Android behaving depanding on their developers so sometimes some apps follow Google but some do not do that. (Especially the design, but I think neither iOS nor Android can resolve this problem better than one another.) One more thing, it is difficult to use iPhone by one hand but Android is easier, although iOS has more unique features that can be used by two hands. Sometimes I really struggle on it.
Most importantly, though, it is all about the cost. Apple ecosystem really costs my money and I am not sure if I can afford it. I have missed the deadline to purchase Apple Care so now I must be carefully when using my dear iPhone or I would suffer great losses. In regard to the “Care”, I have found Samsung also provides Samsung Care and it seems to allow customers pruchase anytime they want unlike Apple allowing customers to buy within 60 days since they activated their devices.
Finally, I would say in some way iOS saves my time and I have little chance to play my iPhone like installing some interesting apps on Android. However, iOS also provides powerful apps like Surge 4. That one app does almost every thing I want. And iPhone is good at taking videos, in which I am really interested. Also as we know, Mainland China has built a speacial Internet ecosystem where Apple ecosystem survives easier than Google and even Amazon.
Well, I said too much this time. How about imaging the time after 5 years? Maybe Samsung can be a better choice? I don’t know but time will tell.
